Sebuah Sisi Lain Kehidupan

Sekedar sharing hasil survey untuk kegiatan sosial Shoebox Project yang dilakukan 19 Maret 2011 yang lalu.
Pengalaman ini membekas karena sebagai orang yang sudah tinggal 10 tahun lebih di Jakarta, saya tidak pernah menemukan ato melihat tempat tinggal yang seperti ini. Maksimal, cuma lihat dari sinetron ato film yang "sedikit dilebih lebihkan".
Ato tempat tinggal para pengumpul sampah di Jalan Kirai Kebayoran.

Foto - foto ini diambil di suatu perkampungan di daerah Rawa Terate, Pulo Gadung.
Perkampungan ini terletak tepat di "bawah" sebuah pabrik peleburan logam.
Sungai yang "hijau" dan selalu "hujan" akibat Cooling Water Fan yang terus menyala menyebarkan titik titik air yang entah mengandung apa.

Sudut Pandang Lain Dunia Pendidikan

Pernah membayangkan bersekolah dengan sekolah seperti ini?

Sekolah seluas 8 x 6 m2 yang hanya terdiri dari 2 kelas dengan ventilasi dan pencahayaan yang kurang memadai.





Untuk membantu sirkulasi udara, cuma dipasang 1 kipas angin untuk tiap kelas.

Untuk membantu pencahayaan, dipasang 1 lampu untuk tiap kelas.

Sekolah ini adalah sekolah alternatif untuk anak - anak kurang mampu.






2 kelas ini dipakai secara bergantian oleh siswa TK dan SD kelas 1 - 5 ( total 96 murid ) dan dengan jumlah pengajar yang hanya 2 orang saja.

Lokasi sekolah ini adalah di Pedongkelan, Kelurahan Kayu Putih, Kecamatan Pulo Gadung, Jakarta Timur. Letaknya tidak jauh dari jalan utama Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan..



Cuma sekedar sharing hasil survey untuk kegiatan sosial Shoebox Project.

Sebuah sisi lain dari dunia pendidikan yang ada di Jakarta, salah satu kota terpadat di dunia.

Masih banyak sekolah sekolah dengan kondisi seperti ini yang ada di Jakarta, bahkan masih ada yang lebih parah lagi di luar Jawa.



Mari kita bantu dengan apa yang kita punya dengan semampu kita agar anak - anak kita, generasi generasi muda dibawah kita, mendapatkan pendidikan yang layak sehingga dapat membangun Negara ini.

Hampir aku lupa bahwa aku punya blog ini.

Tulisan terakhirku di 22 Juni 2008. Huff...waktu yang lama.
